The Laurel Hill chairs follow the basic design of a Frank Lloyd Wright chair with changes to the leg structure and details. The hole patterns on the back are a playful way to number the chairs and the square cutouts are mimicked in the legs as well. The 8 chairs were built as a set with the Laurel Hill dining table.
Three of the chairs transform from dining height to counter height through the use of a support riser and wedged tenons allowing the clients to easily add chairs for a dinner party. The support riser stores neatly under the seat.
